Dedos Gros is an elf, a fairy, a creature deeply connected with the Earth and the many spirits than inhabit it. Throughout his young life, he never quite fit in at home. Never as graceful as the other elves, they called him awkward, clumsy, and fat-fingered (though clumsy for an elf is still very impressive in human terms!). This last taunt he took in and made it his own, taking the name Dedos.

His studies and travels almost always dealt with humans and their culture, constantly widening the gap between himself and his peers. Eventually, he said his goodbyes to the land of Faire and went off to discover what it is this human world really had to offer.
